"Vog"
"Vog" is apparently the combination of the two words "volcano" and "smog". I wasn't aware they had started officially calling volcanic ash plumes vog. When I saw the headline "Vog from Kilauea" I thought they had discovered some kind of troll.
Or, something like-
"Surrender earthlings, I am Vog!"
Or, a band named Vog perhaps?
Vog the Destroyer?
:)

(from NASA)
Vog from Kilauea
